Shimano XTR 9250 Rear Derailleur Compatibility:

The new Shimano XTR 9250 rear derailleur series is compatible with Shimano Di2 wireless shift levers for MTB, road and gravel, and with 12-speed cassettes featuring 9-45 and 10-45 tooth ratios. The CNM9100 chain is recommended. The 12-speed cassettes with 9-45 tooth ranges are only compatible with the new Micro Spline freehub bodies

The M9250 12-speed rear derailleur, optimised for impact resistance and featuring a medium-length cage, is the first choice for both SHIMANO’s top enduro athletes and weight-conscious XC racers, particularly when combined with the 9-45T compact cassette. This incredibly fast-shifting rear derailleur features the all-new wireless Di2 shifting system, an automatic Impact Recovery function, a redesigned wedge shape and 23 mm of additional ground clearance for a shock-free ride, ensuring you stay ahead on the trail.

The XTR RDM 9250 GS medium cage rear derailleur is designed for use with XTR cassettes in the 10-45 range and a single chainring. The XTR Shadow ES 9250 rear derailleur shifts with extreme precision, speed and smoothness. The new, narrower design, fluorine-coated stainless steel bushings and extremely precise machined fits ensure high shifting precision and a long service life. With the ability to adjust the friction damper as desired via a screw mechanism, the system can be tuned to prioritise maximum stability or minimum operating forces. Furthermore, the rear derailleur features an even narrower profile, which protects it from damage and further reduces operating forces thanks to the flat angle of engagement.
