The brand-new DEORE XT M9250 rear derailleur with a medium-length cage, combined with the M9200 compact cassette (9/10-45T), offers riders and racers the speed, range and durability needed to tackle any mountain trail. With built-in Automatic Impact Recovery, a shock-absorbing design and covered pulleys, this rear derailleur withstands hard impacts on the trail whilst maintaining its lightning-fast shifting speed and top performance.

The XTR M9250 SHIMANO RAPID ES shifter feels natural right out of the box, but can be customised to suit any hand thanks to its familiar fit and advanced adjustability. Different shifting modes such as Hold-Down Multi-Shift, tactile Click-Through Double-Shift or Locked-Out Single-Shift ensure precision, whilst a configurable third button allows for additional system tuning or connection to third-party devices.
