SRAM AXS Technology

AXS is the electronic integration platform that connects SRAM’s electronic bike components and software. AXS components communicate wirelessly using 128-bit encryption. Every time a groupset – comprising, for example, shift levers, a front derailleur and a rear derailleur – is paired, a unique code is generated to prevent interference with other riders.
The SRAM AXS app allows you to check battery status, adjust component behaviour, customise controllers, receive maintenance reminders and update the firmware.

SRAM Orbit Technology

Orbit technology uses a special silicone fluid as part of a very lightweight damping system. Compared to a conventional friction clutch system, the technology generates no additional resistance on the rear derailleur spring during slow or light movement. This means smoother shifting and easier removal of the rear wheel. Whilst riding, the fluid damper keeps the chain reliably under control. With high reliability and chain tension, for 2x and 1x systems.
