Shimano 105 CS-R7000 cassette
The Shimano 105 now features the technology of the Dura-Ace R9000 components, Shadow rear derailleur technology, new front derailleur mechanism, lighter crankset and a wider range of gear ratios. Thanks to the materials used, Shimano offers affordable, lightweight and durable 11-speed road bike components with the same high-quality technology.
To reduce weight and achieve greater torsional stiffness, the three largest sprockets are riveted to an aluminium spider. A new steel alloy improves durability. The excellent shifting performance of the previous model is naturally retained and ensures extremely quiet chain operation.
The 11-speed cassettes in the Shimano 11-speed series are not compatible with older Shimano rear freehub bodies. Mavic freehub bodies are compatible with the 11-speed cassettes. Campagnolo, DT Swiss, Fulcrum and Shimano wheelsets are 11-speed compatible from the 2013 version onwards. Replacement freehub bodies are available for some older wheelsets.
