Gravel narrow-wide chainring, Sram Rival XPLR E1, 1x13/12-speed, 40 teeth, X Sync, direct-mount 8-bolt attachment for DUB crankset arms
Sram Rival XPLR E1 Chainring
The 1x12-speed chainring for Rival AXS cranksets with 8-bolt mounting and X-Sync technology. On standard DUB Road cranksets, the chainline is 45 mm; on DUB Road Wide and XPLR cranksets, it is 47.5 mm.
These chainrings are used on SRAM Rival XPLR E1 cranksets and are compatible with all SRAM and Quarq DUB cranksets and cranks with 8-bolt mounting and 12- and 13-speed drivetrains. As with almost all SRAM road and gravel single-chainring setups, the offset is 6.5 mm.
The chainring for Sram Rival E1 cranksets with 8-bolt mounting and X-Sync technology. Sram’s X-Sync chainring technology, featuring alternating wide and narrow tooth spacing, ensures maximum chain control, which is particularly crucial in cyclocross races. It prevents the chain from coming off even without additional guides.
SRAM X-Sync:
SRAM’s X-Sync chainrings ensure maximum performance and durability. The long SRAM X-Sync tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, along with the rounded, slanted edges, aid chain guidance. To deliver the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-Sync chainrings feature recesses to clear dirt and mud away from the inner chain links and rollers. Manufactured in Germany, the X-Sync chainrings are a key component of SRAM’s single-chainring drivetrain.
