Eagle Transmission is the first fully integrated and interdependent system of its kind. The X0 Eagle Transmission T-Type Flattop Chain is much more than just a chain. It has been specially developed to optimise the Eagle Transmission and allows you to shift whenever you want. Its unique flat-top design makes it the strongest chain we have ever manufactured. Just as importantly, it enhances the look of any superbike. We care about the details. It features an X0-specific Dark Polar finish and a PVD coating for incredible corrosion and wear resistance. Fully approved for e-MTBs with solid rivets.

SRAM FlatTop chains:

To offer a wider gear range with smaller steps, the chain needs to be narrower. With the FlatTop chain, SRAM has added material to the flat side of the outer plate to make each individual link more stable. The rivets, inner plates and bushings are hard-chromed; this extends the chain’s lifespan and improves shifting performance even after many kilometres. Furthermore, the bushings on FlatTop chains are larger, which is why they last longer and offer the same efficiency as 11-speed drivetrains. All these technologies mean that the narrower SRAM 12-speed chains last 36 per cent longer than 11-speed chains.
