Sram XX1 Eagle groupset
The SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed components: the new super-light drivetrain concept with the new rear derailleur and cassettes up to 52 teeth
SRAM’s new XX1 Eagle groupset operates quietly, intuitively, precisely and flawlessly. Designed specifically for cross-country use, this groupset combines the latest SRAM 1x shifting technology with consistent lightweight construction. With a total gear ratio of 520 per cent, the XX1 Eagle offers even smoother and more precise shifting, optimised durability and performance.
SRAM XX1 Eagle X rear derailleur – Horizon
The rear derailleur for the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed groupset. The Eagle Type 3 rear derailleur not only has greater capacity; it also represents the next stage of the proven X-HORIZON technology, developed specifically for 1x drivetrains. The lower, larger 14-tooth X-SYNC pulley ensures sufficient capacity to handle cassettes with sprockets ranging from 10 to 52 teeth. The design of the rear derailleur remains compact. Its torque curve is even smoother thanks to our new Type 3 ROLLER BEARING CLUTCH, ensuring quieter and smoother shifting. To enable quick and easy removal of the rear wheel, SRAM uses Cage Lock Technology on the XX1 Eagle rear derailleurs. At the touch of a button, the derailleur cage locks into place and can be swung out without tension, making wheel removal significantly easier. Once the rear wheel is refitted, the cage is swung far forward, the spring tension is restored, and the derailleur is ready for the trail.
SRAM XX1 Eagle Trigger 12-speed shift levers:
Very light and very fast, the SRAM XX1 Eagle Trigger. Shifting with no dead travel, thanks to Exact Actuation technology. Pleasantly light at just 105 grams. Compatible only with Sram XX1 rear derailleurs. The removable handlebar clamp can be replaced with the Sram Matchmaker X for direct mounting of Avid disc brakes. Additionally, the lever position can be adjusted to suit your preferred hand position. Newly developed mechanism for smooth, precise and extremely reliable shifting
SRAM XX1 Eagle Grip Shift:
New Grip Shift mechanism for greater precision and durability – the original from SRAM taken to a new level. With SRAM’s Jaws Lock-On grip technology, the shifter and grip are connected as a single unit, offering exceptional security. Easy to fit and remove. Rolling Thunder ball bearing technology consists of three rows of ball bearings with 120 balls and guarantees significantly reduced effort when shifting, zero friction or play, and long-term performance in all weather conditions. Speed Metal shifting with full-metal shifters offers crisp and precise shifting.
Sram XX1 Eagle DUB crankset:
The new XX1 Eagle DUB crankset with 48-tooth or the Boost 148 version with a 51-tooth chainline for mountain bikes with standard rear triangle mounting widths of 135 to 142 mm or the new Boost rear triangles with a 148 mm mounting width. The lightweight cross-country cranksets with carbon-tuned coating are exceptionally sturdy and light. The Direct Mount chainring mount simplifies chainring changes and allows for quick installation of Sram Direct Mount chainrings.
SRAM DUB axle and bottom bracket system:
The DUB version of the SRAM cranks is suitable for BSA threaded, PressFit BB92, PressFit 30 and BB30 bottom bracket shells. You can find the compatible bottom brackets further down in the text. The axles have a diameter of 29 mm and a length of 113 mm. Axle play is adjustable via a preloader. The Sram DUB cranksets have their own proprietary standard and are only compatible with DUB bottom brackets, not with other standards or bottom brackets.
Sram Direct Mount X Sync 2 chainring:
The Direct Mount X-Sync chainrings of the SRAM XX1 Eagle crankset are bolted directly onto the crank. This saves weight without compromising on stiffness or durability. Perfectly tuned for maximum chain control and guidance. The completely new chainring technology, specially developed for the Eagle chain and drivetrain, offers significantly quieter performance and exceptional durability. Dirt is removed more easily. The chainring teeth are longer and shaped like a saw blade to grip the Eagle chain perfectly. The new chainring profile thus increases chain tension and pedalling efficiency. At the same time, friction, chain noise and wear are reduced.
SRAM XX1 Eagle X-Dome Cassette
With a 10-50 tooth range, the 12-speed X-Dome cassette offers an incredible gear ratio range of 500 per cent whilst maintaining optimal spacing. Combined with the XD freehub, it connects perfectly to the wheel. SRAM X-Dome technology creates an incredibly lightweight, precise and strong cassette. The open design is less prone to dirt, ensuring smoother shifting and longer durability. We offer either the XG 1295 cassette in black or the SRAM XG 1299 cassette in gold for the XX1 Eagle groupset.
SRAM XD Driver Body XD
is a new freehub design that allows the use of a 10-tooth sprocket and offers an improved engagement surface with the cassette. Only compatible with rear wheels featuring the special XD freehub body
SRAM PC XX1 Eagle Chain:
This chain is a key factor in ensuring that the SRAM Eagle is so smooth, precise, durable and quiet. Its links are smoothed, with no sharp corners or edges. The advantage of this is a velvety-smooth, almost silent ride and a longer service life for the chainring and cassette. Thanks to the smoother chain links, the riveting is more uniform and the tensile strength is higher. HARD CHROM technology increases the chain’s mileage.
