Super Record EPS 12-speed front derailleur

The Campagnolo Super Record EPS front derailleur is Campagnolo’s top-of-the-range front derailleur. Through the use of new carbon fibres and nitride-coated titanium screws, an absolute lightweight has been achieved. Campagnolo’s EPS motors are durable and shift extremely accurately and very quickly, even under heavy load. You will notice significant advantages, particularly with the front derailleur. The Super Record EPS front derailleur is equipped with a highly advanced electronic system for automatic position correction, which allows for chain crossings that would not have been possible with conventional systems. Two corrections are made during both upshifts and downshifts. Tailored to the XPSS chainrings, the Campagnolo 11-speed cranksets – with eight ranges for upshifting and two for downshifting – guarantee top performance in combination with the speed and precision of the new EPS front derailleur. This enables extremely precise and rapid gear changes.

Campagnolo Record 12 EPS rear derailleur features

• High-torque motors with high gear ratios:
  Campagnolo has used the world’s best motors for this application. They allow the gear ratio to be changed even under load, maintain performance levels over the long term and enable extremely precise and fast shifting.
• Multi Shifting Exclusive System:
  Allows the chain to be shifted up or down by up to 11 sprockets with a single movement
• Aluminium derailleur cage
  and front derailleur: Lightweight and maximum stiffness. Enables fast and precise shifting even under load.
• Exclusive Unlock System:
  This manual release system allows the rear derailleur and chain to be positioned on the desired sprocket in the event of a drivetrain failure. Furthermore, the release system prevents potential damage in the event of a fall.
• Upper and lower derailleur bodies made from monolithic technopolymer with carbon powder:
  Ensures maximum lightness whilst maintaining a very high level of stiffness.
• Position sensor:
  Thanks to the Magnetic Hall Sensor Resolver, the rear derailleur always positions the chain at the optimal point on the selected sprocket.
• 100 per cent waterproof:
  All derailleur components have been manufactured to IP67 standard, ensuring they can be used in all weather conditions.
• Parallelogram with ULTRA-SHIFT geometry:

  The Campagnolo EPS electronic drivetrain complies with the IP67 international standard. This means the system is able to protect its electronic components from dust and the ingress of liquids. To achieve IP67 certification, all electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests confirming flawless operation at depths of up to one metre underwater for at least 30 minutes.
• Auto Repositioning: Thanks to D.T.I. technology
  , the EPS system constantly detects the position of the rear derailleur and the selected sprocket. This, in turn, sends a signal to the front derailleur, which performs micro-adjustments and always positions itself in the optimal position relative to the chainline.
• Unlock System:
  The rear derailleur’s automatic unlocking system allows manual operation of the gears in the preferred position in the event of system malfunctions. In addition to this important function, the unlocking system also activates in the event of a fall, protecting the rear derailleur from damage upon impact.

Campagnolo EPS compatibility:

Campagnolo EPS components are designed for frames that allow internal routing of the electronic cables. The cables included in the scope of delivery are sufficient for frame sizes up to 63 cm.

Campagnolo EPS installation:

The EPS rear derailleur, front derailleur, shift levers, interface and Power Unit battery are supplied with the electronic cables. These are sufficient for frame sizes up to 63 cm.

To install the Campagnolo EPS components, a cable is routed from each shifter to the EPS interface unit, from the interface to the Power Unit battery, and from there to the rear derailleur and front derailleur. The battery can be mounted on the bottle cage mount, the chainstay or inside the seatpost tube.
