Campagnolo EPS 11-speed accessories

The battery with the electronic control unit for Campagnolo 11-speed EPS components. Compatible with Super Record and Record 11-speed EPS. To use with Athena and Chorus 11-speed EPS components, the EPS11-CHTOV3 kit is also required.

The Campagnolo EPS Power Unit V3, together with the Interface Unit, forms the electronic brain of the EPS system, the DTI (Digital Tech Intelligence). The new Campa Power Unit EPS V3 provides the digital interface to the Interface Unit, rear derailleur and front derailleur, whilst also serving as a battery and interface for firmware updates and diagnostics.

The new cylindrical design allows the battery to be mounted in different positions: externally for lower aerodynamic drag, or internally. This not only offers aerodynamic advantages but also protects the Power Unit from the elements and impacts

Campagnolo EPS Power Unit functions:

• DTI Digital Tech Intelligence
  This is the actual brain of the EPS drivetrain system. The DTI controls and monitors the battery, receives and transmits signals from the interface, and controls the rear derailleur and front derailleur. It detects and reports any system faults via the RGB LED and buzzer.
• External or internal mounting
  : Thanks to the new cylindrical design, the battery can be mounted in various positions to suit the desired aerodynamic benefits.
• Ultrasonically welded housing
  Makes the system 100 per cent waterproof. Specially developed internal housing to absorb vibrations and
  shocks. Maximum protection for the battery and electronic components, even on uneven roads.
• Input-Output Gates
  Enables battery charging – and, if necessary, system diagnostics and firmware and EEPROM updates.
• Seatpost
  Mount Enables quick attachment of the Power Unit V2 to seatposts with a round or aerodynamic cross-section. Available in two versions, for
  seatposts with a diameter of 31.6 mm and 31.6 mm, ensuring correct positioning on any seatpost.

Campagnolo Record EPS Power Unit V4 Compatibility:

The Record Power Unit, PU21-EPS, is only compatible with Record and Super Record EPS 11 components.

The Campagnolo EPS components are designed for frames that allow internal routing of the electronic cables.

Campagnolo EPS installation:

The rear derailleur, front derailleur, shift levers, interface and Power Unit battery are supplied with the electronic cables. These are sufficient for frame sizes up to 63 cm. To install the battery, Power Unit, in the seat tube, the additional cable kit (item no.: AC12-CAADSPEPS) is required.

To install the Campagnolo EPS components, a cable is routed from each shifter to the EPS interface unit, from the interface to the battery, and from there to the rear derailleur and front derailleur. The battery can be mounted on the bottle cage mount, the chainstay or inside the seat tube.

The Campagnolo EPS electronic drivetrain complies with the international IP67 standard. This means the system is capable of protecting its electronic components from dust and the ingress of liquids. To achieve IP67 certification, all electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests which confirmed flawless operation at a depth of up to one metre underwater for at least 30 minutes.
