Sram Force eTap AXS HRD brake caliper | ED-FRC-D1

The brake caliper from the Sram Force eTap AXS HRD Disc series. The brake caliper can be fitted to the front or rear wheel.

Sram Force AXS brake caliper technology:

• Flat Mount installation
• 0-degree hose connection
• Compatible brake line Part No. 00.5018.128.000 with AXS Road shift-brake lever
• Compatible disc pads: Part No. 00.5318.024.001, 00.5315.035.010, 00.5315.035.020
• Compatible with all hydraulic Sram HRD disc shift-brake levers and HRR rim brake shift-brake levers
• Must only be used with DOT brake fluid.

Included in delivery:

• 1 x SRAM Force eTap AXS HRD disc brake caliper (two-piece), without hoses and adapters
• 2 x organic brake pads including springs

Compatible with:

• all hydraulic Sram HRD and HRR shift-brake levers
• Must only be used with DOT brake fluid.

Flat Mount Caliper Standard:

The Flat Mount brake caliper standard was developed for road bike use, reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. The Flat Mount brake calipers are only compatible with 140 and 160 mm brake disc diameters. The brake calipers are the same for the front and rear wheels.

An adapter is always required for front wheel installation, item no.: 00.5318.018.000. By rotating the adapter, the brake disc size can be changed between 140 and 160 mm.

For rear wheel installation, with a 140 mm disc size, the brake caliper is bolted directly onto the chainstay. An adapter is required for installation with 160 mm brake discs, item no.: 00.5318.018.001. Additionally, bolts are required to mount the brake caliper to the frame. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper or into the adapter. These are also available in different lengths to suit the varying thicknesses of the frame’s rear stays.

Flat mount adapters from other manufacturers can also be used. However, the bolts vary depending on the manufacturer; please use only the original SRAM mounting bolts in this case.
