SRAM X-Sync:

Sram’s X-Sync X chainrings ensure maximum performance and durability. The long Sram X-Sync tooth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as the rounded, slanted edges, aid chain guidance. To deliver the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-Sync chainrings feature recesses to clear dirt and mud away from the inner chain links and rollers. Manufactured in Germany, the X-Sync chainrings are a key component of Sram’s single-chainring drivetrain.
