Shimano 105 CS-R7101 Cassette

The 12-speed cassettes with close-ratio gearing up to a 19-tooth sprocket guarantee the perfect gear ratio at all times and are also perfectly suited to mountain riding. Shimano relies on large chain wrap angles for its 12-speed drivetrains. This ensures highly efficient power transfer and smooth running. Naturally, this also improves the durability of the drivetrain. The tried-and-tested CNM7100 chains are used.

The Shimano CSR7100 cassette offers Shimano’s outstanding smooth shifting performance and long-lasting durability. Shimano offers replacement sprockets for these cassettes. This means that if only a few are worn out, they can be replaced at a reasonable cost.

The 12-speed cassettes are compatible with both the new HG12 and the previous HG11 freehub bodies. The new 12-speed freehub bodies feature finer teeth. This allows for a significantly better connection between the cassette and the freehub body.
