Shimano Ultegra BR-R110 brake
We expect delivery in spring 2022.
The new Di2 platform for 12-speed components requires no cable connection to the rear derailleurs and front derailleurs. The Di2 Dual Control shift levers ST R8170 have the necessary wireless module integrated. Power is supplied by CR1632 batteries. These have a service life of up to 2 years. The Di2 12-speed rear derailleur, with its additional wireless unit, acts as a receiver and distributor of shift signals and is connected to the battery and front derailleur for power supply and shift command transmission. Additional wireless components, including those from third-party manufacturers, can also be paired with the rear derailleur.
Ultegra BR-R8110 Direct Mount Brake
The elegantly designed rim brake from the R8100 series, with its lightweight dual-pivot caliper, offers maximum precision for better control and greater reliability in racing. Thanks to the additional reinforcement booster, the Ultegra BR-R8110 brakes offer unprecedented torsional stiffness. The rim brake is easy to adjust and maintain thanks to easy access for tools and the ability to change wheels quickly.
With direct-mount brakes, the brake is mounted to the frame or fork using two bolts. These bolts are positioned directly at the pivot points of the brake. This increases stiffness and thus braking performance. Please check your frame specifications. For direct-mount brakes, the frame or fork requires two threaded holes each for mounting the brakes.
