Shimano Ultegra BR-R8100 brake

We expect delivery in spring 2022.

The new Di2 platform for 12-speed components requires no cable connection to the rear derailleur and front derailleurs. The 12 x 2-speed Di2 Dual Control shift levers ST R8170 have the required wireless module integrated. The shift levers are powered by CR1632 batteries. These have a service life of up to 2 years. The Di2 12-speed rear derailleur, with its additional wireless unit, acts as a receiver and distributor of shift signals and is connected to the battery and front derailleur for power supply and shift command transmission. Additional wireless components, including those from third-party manufacturers, can also be paired with the rear derailleur. Furthermore, the rear derailleur features a charging socket and a connection for diagnostic tools.

Ultegra BR-R8100 rim brake:

The elegantly designed rim brake of the R8100 series, with its lightweight two-pivot brake body, offers maximum precision for better control and greater reliability in racing. Thanks to the additional reinforcement booster, the Ultegra BR-R8100 brakes offer unprecedented torsional stiffness. The rim brake is easy to adjust and maintain thanks to easy access for tools and the ability to change wheels quickly.
