Sram XX Direct Mount S1 Front Derailleur

The first true high-end MTB front derailleur from Sram. Perfectly matched to the Sram XX 2x MTB cranksets. The extra-wide parallelogram and high-quality bearings ensure smooth and very fast shifting. In combination with the new X-Glide chainrings on the Sram XX cranksets, shifting speed reaches previously unimagined levels.

With the Sram XX cassettes available, in 11-32 and 11-36 tooth configurations, and the Sram XX 2x cranksets with gear ratios of 39/26, 42/28 and 45/30 teeth, a gear range is achieved that matches the classic MTB 44/22/22 tooth ratios. Thanks to the 2x drivetrain with the 10-speed cassette, every gear can be used and there is no gear overlap.

S1 Direct Mount:

The front derailleur is mounted directly onto frames designed for this purpose; the bolt spacing is 42.7 mm horizontally. As the S1 direct mount does not allow for height adjustment of the front derailleur, different front derailleurs are required for the various gear ratios
