Campagnolo Super Record EPS Accessories
Together with the Power Unit, the Campagnolo EPS Interface Unit forms the electronic brain of the EPS system, the DTI (Digital Tech Intelligence). The interface converts the analogue signal from the shift levers into a digital signal for transmission to the battery, the EPS Power Unit. The DTI interface sends thousands of signals to the Power Unit every second and receives thousands from it, processing them to ensure a flawless ride.
Weighing just 24 grams, the EPS Interface can be mounted on either the stem or the brake cables. The cables for connecting the shift levers and battery are included in the scope of delivery.
Campagnolo Super Record EPS Interface Unit Functions:
- Conversion of analogue to digital signal
Enables the analogue signal from the shift levers to be converted into a digital signal, which is transmitted to the Power Unit. - Zero and Riding Settings
Enables the initial adjustment of the rear derailleur and front derailleur, as well as fine-tuning during the race. - RGB LED
The RGB LED indicates the battery charge level. It detects and reports any system faults via the RGB LED. It detects and reports any system faults via the RGB LED - Mounting options
The special design of the interface allows it to be mounted either on the brake cable or on the handlebar stem.
Campagnolo EPS compatibility:
The Campagnolo EPS components are designed for frames that allow internal routing of the electronic cables. The cables included in the scope of delivery are sufficient for frame sizes up to 63 cm.
Campagnolo EPS assembly:
The EPS rear derailleur, front derailleur, shift levers, interface and Power Unit battery are supplied with the electronic cables. These are sufficient for frame sizes up to 63 cm. To mount the Power Unit battery in the seat post tube, the additional cable kit (item no.: AC12-CAADSPEPS) is required.
To install the Campagnolo EPS components, a cable is routed from each shifter to the EPS interface unit, from the interface to the Power Unit battery, and from there to the rear derailleur and front derailleur. The battery can be mounted on the bottle cage mount, the chainstay or inside the seatpost tube.
The Campagnolo EPS electronic drivetrain complies with the IP67 international standard. This means the system is capable of protecting its electronic components from dust and the ingress of liquids. To achieve IP67 certification, all electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests which confirmed flawless operation at a depth of up to one metre underwater for at least 30 minutes.
