The SRAM Rival AXS: the 12-speed revolution in an entry-level version. The Rival AXS components offer a wider range, up to a 10-36 cassette, smooth gear changes and smarter shifting settings, made possible by AXS and the simplicity of eTap shifting logic, ensuring you always select the right gear. SRAM AXS Access allows you to personalise the groupset directly from your mobile phone and make changes even whilst riding. The SRAM AXS app enables riders to view battery status, adjust component behaviour, personalise shift logic, receive maintenance alerts and update the firmware.

The electronic Sram Rival ACS eTap derailleur: perfectly matched to the Sram X-Glide 12-speed chainrings with proven Yaw technology. The SRAM Force eTap Yaw derailleur technology: Instead of simply moving back and forth, the derailleur cage now traces a small arc, maintaining a constant angle to the chain. This is the new Yaw technology. It enables trim-free shifting. Optimised for use with 46/33 or 48/35 X-Range chainrings

SRAM AXS technology

AXS is the electronic integration platform that connects SRAM’s electronic bike components and software. AXS components communicate wirelessly using 128-bit encryption. Every time a groupset – comprising, for example, shift levers, front derailleur and rear derailleur – is paired, a unique code is generated to prevent false signals from interfering with other cyclists.
The SRAM AXS app allows you to view battery status, adjust component behaviour, customise controllers, receive maintenance reminders and update the firmware.

SRAM Orbit Technology

Orbit technology uses a special silicone fluid as part of a very lightweight damping system. Compared to a conventional friction clutch system, the technology produces no additional resistance on the rear derailleur spring during slow or light movement. This means smoother shifting and easier removal of the rear wheel. Whilst riding, the fluid damper keeps the chain reliably under control. With high reliability and chain tension, for 2x and 1x systems.

Compatibility:

The SRAM Rival AXS eTap front derailleur is compatible with all AXS eTap shift levers. The maximum shiftable chainring size is 50 teeth, the shift capacity is 13 teeth
