Zipp SL 80 Race Handlebar, HB-DBSL-80R-A1:
A high-end handlebar should provide the perfect connection between you and your bike, combining ergonomic comfort with aerodynamic efficiency. The Zipp SL 80 Race is a premium carbon aero road bike handlebar, specifically designed for use with the SRAM RED AXS groupset. The handlebar features an overhang that covers the brake line at the transition to the grip section. This design creates a platform that harmonises with the brake lever and provides an ideal resting surface for your hands when riding on the grip bodies. The shape of the lower bend has been optimised to improve reach to the brake lever in the sprint position. The SL 80 Race also features defined markings on the lower and upper bends for easy positioning of the SRAM Wireless Blips. The top tube has a wing-shaped design for improved aerodynamic efficiency whilst incorporating key innovations to ensure a relaxed ride. The top tube is ideal for long climbs or for those who prefer riding on the top tube, as it is slightly angled so your hands do not rest flat. On previous aero models, the upper handlebars were typically not fitted with handlebar tape, which meant that the carbon in the upper position was uncomfortable and potentially slippery. The SL 80 Race, however, features an easy-to-fit heat-shrink grip that conceals cables and Blips whilst providing a non-slip surface.
