It is the sheer number of teeth that creates the legendary Chris King ‘angry bee’ sound. The Chris King freehub also engages three times faster than conventional hubs with 24 teeth and pawls.

Chris King Ceramic Bearings

Chris King’s ceramic bearings offer the same qualities in terms of durability, maintenance and performance, but are even lighter and harder than the tried-and-tested stainless steel bearings. One of the most outstanding features of the ceramic balls used is their incredibly geometrically perfect roundness; furthermore, the extremely smooth surface guarantees optimal rolling behaviour and precision fit. The ceramic bearings are even lighter and harder than the stainless steel bearings, housed in external bearing cups, multi-sealed and virtually indestructible.
