Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 CC DB OEM internal gear hub

The Speedhub hub for disc brakes with the OEM axle plate to support the torque at the Rohloff dropout. The Speedhub’s external cable routing allows for straightforward installation of the brake disc and shift cables.

The current Speedhub hubs are supplied with the new shift lever, the anodised version of the hub body, featuring an engraved logo, serial number and support rings for the spokes

Rohloff CC PM Axle Plate

The CC PM axle plate for the Rohloff Speedhub 500/14 hub to support torque at the post-mount brake caliper mount. The PM Bone is also required. Please note that if the PM Bone (item no. 8555) is not replacing an existing adapter, a 20 mm larger brake disc is required, as the PM Bone acts as an adapter. No further torque support is necessary.

14 gears evenly spaced with the shifting capacity of a 27-speed MTB derailleur. Compact and low-maintenance, housed in a lightweight aluminium casing. Forced gear selection, straight chainline, low running costs and low weight. The advantages of the Rohloff Speedhub speak for themselves.

High reliability, optimal gear ratios, a wide overall gear range, virtually maintenance-free and extremely simple operation are the key features. Low weight and high efficiency leave nothing to be desired. The sealed gearbox guarantees a long service life even under extreme conditions. The uniform gear ratio of 13.6 per cent enables the rider to always ride at their optimum performance level. A total gear ratio of 526 per cent ensures the right gear is available for every riding situation. The Rohloff SPEEDHUB 500/14 is operated via a twist shifter, which positively controls the hub via a separate shift cable for both upshifting and downshifting. Unlike all previous gear systems, gear indexing takes place not in the shifter but directly in the gearbox, resulting in minimal wear and the need for adjustment.
