Schmidt SONdelux Hub Dynamo

The SonDelux hub dynamo offers excellent smooth running and high efficiency, and is the ideal complement to Schmidt’s Edelux lamps, as the SonDelux has particularly low energy loss yet still produces plenty of light even at low speeds.

Thanks to its reduced flange spacing and diameter, it is barely more noticeable than a standard hub dynamo. The SonDelux is the successor to the classic SON. Naturally, like all SON models, it is manufactured with the AWS pressure equalisation system. Weighing 390g, it is one of the lightest hub dynamos in the world. It is approved for tandem use with radial spoking. The SonDelux dynamo is approved under the StVZO for wheel diameters from 16 inches to 29 inches.
