Shimano XTR Disc HBM9110 Hub
The Shimano XTR M9100, the new flagship of Shimano’s mountain bike components, features, among other things, a revolutionary 12-speed cassette with a choice of 10-45 or 10-51 teeth, two- or four-piston brakes and hubs with Shimano’s new Micro Spline technology. A completely redesigned mounting system for shift and brake levers enables users to customise their cockpit for optimal control; a release lever for retractable seatposts, seamlessly integrated into this system, is also available. All in all, the new XTR has shed more than 150 g in weight compared to its predecessor in the XC configuration; for enduro use, this still amounts to a weight saving of 90 g. The operating forces and travel for shifting have been revised and optimised to guarantee intuitive control in all conditions and allow riders to focus on the challenges of the terrain.
