Shimano Zee FH M640 Centre Lock rear hub.

Affordable and high-quality disc brake rear hub from the Shimano Zee series for MTBs with a classic quick-release mount or 10x135 thru-axle mount. Good seals provide reliable protection against contamination of the bearings. Equipped with a classic pawl-type freehub body for loss-free power transmission. The Centerlock mount allows for straightforward mounting of Shimano Centerlock brake discs. An adapter is available for 6-hole brake discs.

The 10x135 mm hubs from the Zee series can also be fitted to standard frames designed for quick-release mounting using a DT Swiss Thru-Bolt or Shimano E-Thru thru-axle. In this case, the thru-axle replaces the classic rear axle. The advantage of this system is a significantly more stable axle mounting.
