Wolf Tooth X-12 Thru-Axle

The Wolf Tooth X-12 thru-axle for rear wheels with the Syntace X-12 system – very lightweight, made from the finest materials and manufactured to aerospace standards.

It uses a captive conical washer beneath the clamp head to reduce friction at the dropout surface. This protects expensive frames, transfers a greater proportion of the tightening torque to the clamping load for a stiffer interface, and prevents the axle from seizing up or rubbing. When fitting, always apply a small amount of grease to the washer and the thread.

Quick-release axles are available in various designs;please note the exact dimensions such as length, diameter, thread length and pitch.
