Tune Mag 170 Rear Hub

The revised classic MAG 180 has been transformed into the Tune MAG 170 with the new 17mm axle! The successor impresses with its durability, increased stiffness and further reduced weight. The Mag 170 with a 17mm axle now definitively enters the hardcore segment of rim brake hubs. Unique design: thanks to adjustable play, there is no bearing seizure even under the toughest clamping conditions. The larger flange, high/low flanges, on the freehub side allows for a more angled spoke pattern and thus a more symmetrical wheel. The Tune MAG 170 features a 4-bearing design. Despite its sensationally low weight, there are no restrictions on use! Tune uses special bearings that are not available in standard retail outlets!

Tune Standard Bearings:

The ball bearings are well-sealed and suitable for classic use on road bikes. The bearings are characterised by a special grease and a higher grease fill level. They are also well-sealed and maintenance-free.
