- Shimano HG11 freehub compatible with Shimano MTB 8-11-speed, Sram PG MTB 8-11-speed and Shimano Road 9-12-speed cassettes
The freehub bodies are made from 6-4 titanium and are exclusively compatible with White Industries hubs. These modern versions are designed for 11- and 12-speed cassettes, but can also be used with 8-10-speed cassettes and are compatible with all current White Industries hubs as well as some older models. They feature recesses for three pawls/springs and, depending on your hub’s drive ring, accommodate pawls with 24 or 48 teeth. Most current White Industries hubs from the last three years are equipped with a 48-tooth drive ring and pawls. You can convert your hub to a 48-tooth drive ring and pawls, but in addition to the parts, you will need the rather expensive drive ring tool, item no. RRINGTL24. You must also ensure that your hub is compatible with these newer freehub bodies.
