TIME XPRO 12 Pedal Set, PD-XPRO-12-C1

Thanks to its low weight and ergonomic design, the XPRO 12 is the first choice for elite athletes and allows for countless hours of riding without pedal-related discomfort. With its carbon body and titanium axle, the XPRO 12 is extremely light yet robust. The large pedal surface area of 725 square millimetres ensures efficient power transfer and the necessary stability, so you’re ready for sprints and explosive bursts of speed. The lower fairing improves aerodynamics and also offers protection for the carbon plate. TIME’s patented, pre-opened ICLIC system allows for quick and easy clipping in, so you can get going straight away. When used with ICLIC Float Cleats, this pedal allows for free movement (both angular and lateral) whilst clipped in, thereby reducing strain on the knees. TIME XPRO pedals offer three Q-factor options to provide greater ergonomic flexibility. The tension adjustment on the carbon plate has three positions to precisely control the pressure of the tension mechanism. The XPRO 12 features a titanium axle for a maximum rider weight of 90 kg.

With the Bioposition System, Time ensures a perfect fit of the foot to the pedals. With a sole-to-pedal-axis distance of just 13.5 mm, a large contact area allowing 1.25 mm of lateral movement and 5 degrees of rotation, as well as a selectable Q-factor of 51.7 or 54.3 mm, power is transferred perfectly whilst protecting the joints.

Despite their low weight, the Time Xpro pedals feature an oversized contact area of 725 square mm. The excellent ergonomics, with a distance of just 13.5 mm to the axle centre and 15 degrees of freedom of movement, allow for extremely effective power transfer and an ergonomic foot position. The new Iclic system now also offers adjustable release tension. The cover on the underside ensures excellent aerodynamics.

The new road bike pedals from Time with a revolutionary clip-in mechanism – the Xpro. Thanks to a special mechanism, the pedal remains open when unclipped, so that clipping in requires almost no effort. There is no spring force to overcome when clipping in, as is the case with other systems. The new Iclic system features three-stage adjustable release tension, and Iclic cleats with no play are available as an option.
