Wolf Tooth GoatLink Adapter

The GoatLink adapter is simply the quickest way to improve durability and long-term shifting performance on wide-range 1x10 drivetrains with Shimano Shadow+ rear derailleurs.

It enables the use of wide-range 10-speed cassettes with a gear range of up to 11–42 teeth. It is mounted between the derailleur hanger and the rear derailleur, thereby increasing the distance between the derailleur cage and the cassette to easily handle the cassette’s larger gear ratios.

Notes on use:

When converting from 1x and 2x drivetrains, the Shimano rear derailleur must have a medium-length GS cage. The chain length is not affected by the conversion or the adapter. Shimano Shadow+ 10-speed rear derailleurs, ONLY those with a clutch type, have a Direct Mount link, including a spacer if present, or a B-link with a width of 7.9–8.1 mm. Please note the width of the B-link.

10-speed rear derailleur compatibility:

• Shimano Shadow+ XTR / Deore XT / SLX / Zee / Saint rear derailleurs with 7.9–8.1 mm spacer or B-pivot
• NOT compatible: Shimano rear derailleurs without Shadow+ technology or thinner B-pivots

10-speed cassette compatibility:

• 11–40 teeth - with GS rear derailleur
• 11–42 teeth - with GS rear derailleur
