Gravel Upgrade Kit Sram Force XPLR E1 13x1
The Sram Force XPLR Gravel gear and brake conversion kit in the 13x1 version features the XPLR Full Mount rear derailleur for the 13-speed cassette with a 10-46 tooth range.
Suitable only for frames with UDH specification (Universal Derailleur Hanger), i.e. frames without a derailleur hanger; the rear derailleur cannot be fitted to frames with conventional derailleur hangers.

Sram Force AXS RD-FRC-E-E1 rear derailleur:
The resilience of Full Mount No bent derailleur hangers after crashes, knocks or rough handling whilst travelling. No more adjustment screws. Just fast, precise shifting – specially developed for gravel riding. The 1x-specific Force XPLR AXS rear derailleur offers incredible chain control, whilst the straight cage design prevents dirt or heavy loads from pushing this derailleur into the wheel. This 1x-specific component is robust and built to withstand just about anything.

Full Mount, UDH mounting:
A Full-Mount rear derailleur is fitted to frames with a UDH interface. Centring on the wheel axle/thru-axle creates a system with no weak points under load. As it is always in the same position relative to the cassette, no adjustment screws are required during setup. Prepare. Attach. Tighten. The full-mount rear derailleur can be installed in three simple steps without special tools.
The UDH interface, the universal derailleur hanger, refers to a universal design for derailleur mounting used by various brands. In this system, the derailleur is mounted using the thru-axle and has a precisely defined position. Furthermore, this system is significantly more stable and therefore less prone to faults.
UDH frames are equipped with a hangerless interface to which Full-Mount rear derailleurs can be fitted. UDH derailleur hangers are also available for fitting conventional rear derailleurs.
Sram Force AXS disc brake, ED-FRC-E1
Completely new lever ergonomics – now also available for the Force. The system features stiffer brake calipers, the ability to brake with just one finger from both the lower and upper handlebar positions, bonus buttons and a texture that makes it easier to locate and operate the buttons and levers. These improvements are the result of over four years of feedback from a wide variety of riders and deliver a new level of comfort and control for an even broader range of cyclists. Furthermore, this virtually eliminates the risk of pinching your fingers during hard braking. Less effort, less hand fatigue, effortless operation and greater control.

Fully wireless electronic shifting combined with fully hydraulic disc brakes. The award-winning eTap shift logic combined with the connectivity of AXS. The SRAM Force AXS eTap shift levers build on this foundation and combine it with the latest technologies. What’s more, they are now even easier to customise, from tailoring shift sequences to adjusting lever reach. SRAM Force AXS Disc brake-shift levers feature racing-car-inspired paddle shift logic that virtually eliminates accidental upshifts when downshifting, whilst keeping shifting precise, fast and simple. The ErgoBlade levers and large SRAM eTap shift paddles offer reliable control and good feedback.
SRAM AXS batteries:
Batteries are used on the rear derailleur and front derailleur. These batteries are interchangeable. So, for example, if the rear derailleur runs out of power halfway through a ride, you can shift to your preferred chainring at the front, swap the two batteries and then continue riding without worry. The batteries have a capacity of approximately 1,000 kilometres or 60 hours of riding time. The charging time for a battery is around 45 minutes. In addition, all components of the SRAM Red eTap groupset are equipped with LED indicators. Green means the battery is fully charged, and red indicates that there is still sufficient capacity remaining. Only when the LED starts flashing red does the charge level approach the end, leaving around 5 per cent capacity remaining.
SRAM AXS technology
AXS is the electronic integration platform that connects SRAM’s electronic bike components and software. The AXS components communicate wirelessly using 128-bit encryption. Every time a groupset comprising, for example, shift levers, a front derailleur and a rear derailleur is paired, a unique code is generated to prevent interference with other riders. The SRAM AXS app allows you to view the battery status, adjust component behaviour, customise controllers, receive maintenance reminders and update the firmware. This app is available free of charge from the App Store for iOS and Android.
Flat Mount Standard:
The new Flat Mount caliper standard for road bike brakes reduces weight and offers a significantly sleeker look. With the Flat Mount standard, the rear caliper sits directly on the chainstay, with a bolt spacing of 35 mm; no adapter is required for caliper mounting. The bolts pass through the chainstay from below directly into the brake caliper. A flat adapter is still required on the fork; the fork mount has a bolt spacing of 75 mm and the brake caliper is the same as that used on the rear wheel. The adapter is screwed onto the rear of the fork leg, with the brake sitting directly on the adapter. By flipping the adapter over, the available brake disc sizes can be changed between 140 and 160 mm.
