Fizik Arione R1 Open Saddle

The new Open saddle series from Fizik offers maximum relief in the perineal area, thanks to a recess and cut-out in the saddle cover. The Fizik Arione Open R1 saddle in the Large version, 142 mm wide.

The Fizik Arione R1 saddle in its classic shape, now featuring a cut-out in the perineal area, with an exceptionally lightweight carbon frame, new padding and a lightweight carbon composite saddle shell, offers the familiar high level of comfort and optimum freedom of movement. The Arione saddles are part of Fizik’s Snake Concept saddle series and are designed for very athletic riders with a very aggressive riding position.

Fizik Snake Concept:

The Arione from Fizik’s Snake series of saddles is designed for a very sporty riding position with a significant rise from the saddle to the handlebars. The long profile allows for a significant adjustment of the riding position thanks to the well-padded nose. Ideal for marathons and races.

Fizik Arione R1 Carbon Braided Frame:

The carbon frame is manufactured from a 3D weave. Its load-bearing capacity is comparable to that of titanium frames and is 50 per cent higher than that of conventional carbon frames. To increase stability, the carbon tubes are ovalised and their diameter increased to 9 mm. In the area of the seatpost clamp, the tubes are additionally hand-wrapped with polyester fabric tape, whose epoxy resin bonds with the carbon fibres during the baking process. The seatpost of the Fizik Arione R1 Carbon allows for adjustment within a range of 85 mm.

The carbon braided seat posts with a diameter of 9x7 mm are not compatible with all seat posts.

Fizik Arione R1 Wing Flex Composite Carbon Fibre:

Very light and comfortable, the Wing Flex carbon saddle shell made from carbon composite weave makes the Fizik Arione R1 exceptionally comfortable and offers a firm yet flexible and comfortable seat. The outer shell is made of multi-directional carbon fibres. The thickness of the padding increases towards the outer edge, allowing the saddle to provide very responsive and continuous cushioning. At 300 mm in length, the Fizik Arione saddles offer better cushioning than conventional saddles measuring 260–270 mm in length
