Fizik Argo saddle shell:
The semi-circular saddle shell is particularly flexible at the sides. Suitable for a sporty riding position with a moderate rise in the seat height. The composite fibreglass co-injected nylon shell is produced using a special injection process in which a 0.7 mm thick thermoformed carbon layer is overmoulded with a nylon layer reinforced with carbon fibres. Thanks to Fizik’s special Type 2 padding, which is slightly thicker in the area of the ischial tuberosities, the Argo saddle offers excellent pressure distribution and cushioning.

Fizik Wing-Flex saddle shell:
Wing Flex technology, a shell that is flexible at the sides, allows the cyclist greater freedom of movement in the thighs whilst seated on the saddle, thereby increasing pedalling power. The Wing Flex shell flexes downwards in the critical area where the inner thighs come into contact with the saddle, enabling a more efficient and complete range of motion when pedalling. Whether the rider has large or narrow thighs, a wide or narrow pelvis: the saddle adapts to the rider, not the rider to the saddle.
Fizik Carbon Braided Frame:
The carbon frame is made from a 3D weave. Its load-bearing capacity is comparable to that of titanium frames and is 50 per cent higher than that of conventional carbon frames. To increase stability, the carbon tubes are ovalised and their diameter increased to 9 mm. In the area of the seatpost clamp, the tubes are additionally hand-wrapped with polyester fabric tape, whose epoxy resin bonds with the carbon fibres during the baking process. The saddle frame of the Fizik Aliante Carbon allows for adjustment within a range of 85 mm.

Fizik Terra Argo:
Whilst a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to change their position frequently to achieve better leverage, the Argo places riders in a more planted position, providing greater stability and improved weight distribution. The short length of the Terra Argo allows the rider to sit further forward without exerting excessive pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cut-out, developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts. The Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As a gravel-specific option, the Terra Argo has been fitted with a compliant shell to offer a degree of flexibility. This controlled elasticity absorbs road chatter and vibrations, providing the comfort required for long distances on unpaved roads. To better support the Terra Argo’s flexible shell, we have utilised our Mobius rail system with closed-loop control to enhance structural stability and responsiveness. The Terra Argo features a contoured profile that provides the lower back support required for long rides and helps riders maintain their position when climbing on loose terrain. The same applies to the dropped-nose design, which allows the rider to rotate their pelvis whilst pushing the nose forward to achieve better traction and power transfer. The padding consists of fizik’s proprietary Type 2 foam formulation, which is slightly thicker in the area of the ischial tuberosities to support a more upright riding position. The cushioning is slightly softer and more progressive than on our racing saddles, offering greater comfort over long distances.
