The short and wide saddle nose eliminates contact and pressure points in the perineal area, whilst the enlarged contact surface with the innovative V-shape design offers excellent pressure distribution, making the Akero a versatile saddle suitable for both short and medium distances.A key feature of the saddle is the ACTIVE BASE SYSTEM, an innovative system applied to a ‘closed’ saddle that offers the advantage of a base with a central hole … this provides several benefits in terms of pressure distribution, blood circulation and protection against water and mud in all weather conditions.

Prologo carbon-fibre reinforced plastic saddle shell:

The saddle shell is manufactured using a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic injection moulding process developed by Prologo. This results in a saddle shell that is 15 per cent lighter, increases stability and creates an attractive and durable surface.

Prologo T2.0 saddle frame:

The T2.0 saddle frame, made from chromium-molybdenum steel, is manufactured to a hardness of HRC 39 and a thickness of +/-2 mm. This offers optimal mechanical properties and a good balance between weight and durability.
