Prologo Nago R4 Tirox Saddle

The NAGO R4, a redesign, is the evolution of the iconic NAGO, the Prologo saddle launched in 2008, which has already won a Giro d’Italia and many classics over the years. The new saddle was developed based on the needs of the professional teams supported by Prologo and perfected through "Pressure Map MyOwn" testing to meet the needs of all cyclists seeking maximum performance and comfort, even on long rides.

Compact dimensions with a length of 245 mm and a T-shape, featuring a slightly forward-tilted anatomical centre to ensure good freedom of movement in the saddle and maximise pedalling efficiency in all positions. The semi-circular ergonomic shape makes the NAGO R4 PAS ideal for cyclists with average pelvic rotation flexibility, whilst the narrow width of just 137 mm is best suited to riders with a shorter sit-bone width.

Prologo PAS technology:

The open version of the NAGO R4 PAS features two separate, completely independent sections made from the latest generation of variable-density foam to ensure excellent support and comfort throughout all phases of pedalling. At the centre is Prologo’s PAS system: a wide central channel and a perforated base to prevent pressure peaks even during the phases of maximum pedalling force.

Prologo carbon-reinforced plastic saddle shell:

The saddle shell is manufactured using a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic injection moulding process developed by Prologo. This results in a saddle shell that is 15 per cent lighter, increases stability and creates an attractive and durable surface.

Prologo Tirox steel saddle frame:

The Tirox steel saddle frame is hardened using a special process, also employed in the aerospace industry, involving a light metal alloy. This offers optimum tensile and torsional strength, thereby providing an excellent balance between weight and robustness. The Tirox saddle frame is round, 7 mm in diameter, and compatible with all standard seatposts.
