Saddle Prologo Scratch X8 Tirox

The Scratch X8 is a unisex saddle with a rounded shape, perfect for use on medium and long off-road rides.

Thanks to its sophisticated three-zone Active Density technology, the saddle offers padding that adapts to the pressure of the riding situation and distributes it optimally across the saddle surface. The wider nose also allows for a wide range of variable and individual riding positions. This makes the saddle the perfect all-rounder for tough conditions.

Prologo Active Density Technology:

AD / Active Density is a three-zone padding system that varies in the firmness and density of the material. The rear section is firmer and softer, allowing for an upright sitting position and absorbing shocks. The central section, where more pressure is exerted by movement, is flexible and soft, providing support for the perineal area. The tip, with slightly softer padding, offers additional comfort for an extended riding position and ultra-hard pedalling.

Prologo carbon-fibre reinforced plastic saddle shell:

The saddle shell is manufactured using a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic injection moulding process developed by Prologo. This results in a saddle shell that is 15 per cent lighter, increases stability and creates an attractive and durable surface.

Prologo Tirox steel saddle frame:

The Tirox steel saddle frame is hardened using a special process, also employed in the aerospace industry, involving a light metal alloy. This offers optimal tensile and torsional strength, thereby providing an excellent balance between weight and robustness.

Prologo U-Clip mounting system:
The U-Clip system is a simple and effective system that allows saddle bags, lights and accessories to be attached directly to the saddle. Weighing approximately 4 grams per clip, it offers the ideal balance between design and weight. Compatible with Topeak Quick-Click systems.
