Selle San Marco Aspide Carbon FX Saddle

Very lightweight, excellent Bio Foam padding and, in the short version, a comfortable road bike saddle.

With its semi-circular saddle shell, the Selle San Marco Aspide offers high seating comfort for a sporty riding position with a slight elevation of the saddle level. Thanks to the gently rising rear of the saddle, the Aspide provides excellent support and is particularly well-suited to long rides. The design is unique: a key symbol of lightness and comfort. The ergonomics have been redefined through a special study to find the perfect balance between support and relief zones.

New Ergonomics:

Perfect balance between support zones and relief zones. The cut-out helps maintain seating comfort under pressure and enables long-lasting comfort and support. The central relief zone is long enough to fulfil its function in all seating positions. A stabilising bridge prevents unwanted twisting of the saddle.

Selle San Marco BIO Foam

Maximum cushioning thanks to Bio Foam. The aim is to achieve better saddle comfort than with gel inserts. Reduced weight and greater, long-lasting durability are further advantages. The biodynamic structure, which follows the movements of the pelvis during pedalling, ensures comfort, reduced weight and lasting durability, as well as ideal support. The ‘closed-cell’ surface ensures the padding’s water-repellent properties.

Selle San Marco DNA-Carbon Waist saddle frame:

The system provides high stiffness in the seat stays, thereby preventing lateral vibrations of the saddle without compromising comfort whilst riding. The intersecting X-shape point, Dynamic Node Action, is the point where all forces converge. The intersection distributes the forces, thereby cushioning natural sideways movements.

Selle San Marco Microfeel

This cover is breathable and hard-wearing. It is more robust and lighter than traditional materials. The special surface ensures slip resistance with an exceptional fit on the saddle.
