Wolf Tooth Resolve Rev 2 Dropper Seatpost

The second version of the Wolf Tooth Resolve dropper post is not only the first self-bleeding hydraulic dropper post, but also one of the lightest on the market.

Thanks to a new spool valve, the Resolve Rev 2 requires 25 per cent less lever force, regardless of whether the saddle is loaded or not. The automatic bleed ensures that no air is drawn in even if you lift the bike by the saddle whilst the seatpost is fully lowered. This saves you the hassle of bleeding the system after transport, which is often a source of frustration with other hydraulic seatposts.

Wolf Tooth Resolve Rev2 Highlights:

• Self-bleeding cartridge – at the heart of the system is the cartridge, which hydraulically and fully automatically pumps air out of the oil chamber with every up and down movement. This creates constant pressure without sagging and allows for straightforward maintenance that anyone can carry out themselves.

• Sensational effective height – the effective height offers sensational possibilities for mounting the saddle low, providing scope for drops and technical descents.

• Short installation height – the installation height allows for long travel options, catering to even more applications and frame types. This is essential for small, curved frames or models where a bottle cage is mounted on the seat tube.

• Best weight-to-travel ratio – when it comes to grams per millimetre of travel, the Resolve is the lightest Vario/dropper seatpost on the market. It is up to 26 per cent lighter than others with the same travel and size.

• For round and oval seat stays – the two-bolt saddle mount is simply reliable and has proven itself. This allows for the short insertion height. Titanium bolts and cylinder nuts are available as options to reduce weight or add colour.

• Modular design – it’s not just the spare parts supply for the Resolve that’s excellent. The seat tube can also be swapped out from 30.9 to 31.6 mm diameter.

• Tested for 4 years – Wolf Tooth has tested the Resolve prototypes for over four years in all conditions. Precise with consistent performance in all weathers, from desert heat to Minnesota winters at -15 degrees

• Movement feedback – the Resolve offers smooth and refined feedback; whenever a movement is made, a distinct clicking sound is produced as feedback, which is easy to hear – so you can tell if your seatpost is working.

• External air filter – the air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the chamber, ensuring the Resolve operates with smooth precision. Mounted externally, the air filter can be easily inspected and, if necessary, simply replaced using a pair of snap-ring pliers.
