The Squorx Pro Head nipples are required for the new DT Swiss rims in the new tubeless-ready X series.
The DT Squorx Pro Head nipple combines ease of installation with light weight thanks to the DT Pro Head shape, combined with an additional Torx and square tool socket. The Torx socket provides a larger contact area during wheel building, ensuring that the force from the tool is better distributed across the nipple. The spherical contact area within the rim guarantees perfect alignment with the spoke.
Want to increase the lifespan of a wheel several-fold? That’s only possible with DT Pro Lock! This nipple features an integrated thread-locking system, developed and manufactured by DT Swiss. The two-component adhesive in the nipple thread prevents the spoke-nipple connection from loosening under the influence of operational loads and the loading and unloading of the wheel whilst riding, thereby ensuring constant spoke tension. DT Pro Lock can be fitted either by machine or by hand.
