Cane Creek Double Barrel Kitsuma Air Shock
The new high-end Kitsuma shock absorber with an extremely wide adjustment range and 3-position Climp Switch technology, external high and low-speed rebound and compression adjustment. Equipped with the new adjustment system, Kitsuma shock absorbers can be adjusted perfectly for any application quickly and easily without tools. The enduro shock absorber for maximum performance. The Cane Creek Kitsuma Air shock features a unique design in which the oil flows through externally adjustable valves. This allows the shock to be precisely tailored to personal preferences. The self-adjusting negative air spring ensures maximum bottom-out protection.
Handcrafted in the USA and developed in collaboration with Öhlins, the Double Barrier shock is engineered with extreme precision and designed for maximum performance and reliability. To perfectly adapt the shock to the respective frame, volume spacers can be used to reduce the air volume, thereby making the shock more progressive.

Cane Creek 3-Position Climb Switch:
the new Climp Switch technology now offers three positions: Descend, CS and, most recently, Firm. In Descend mode, the shock is open; CS provides grip and pedalling efficiency; and Firm completely closes the shock’s bleed port. The low-speed rebound and compression damping can also be adjusted separately. This ensures full usable travel on the flat and uphill, whilst reliably suppressing suspension bob.
Cane Creek Twin Tube Technology:
Twin Tube technology ensures that, unlike in conventional dampers where oil flows solely through the main piston, it flows through the valves responsible for the respective damping. This results in superior, reproducible adjustability.
Cane Creek HSC
The High-Speed Compression (HSC) setting is designed to absorb the energy from heavy impacts, such as large ledges or hard landings.
Cane Creek HSR
A unique adjustment parameter on the Double Barrel is the High-Speed Rebound, which regulates the rebound speed when the suspension is fully compressed and enables controlled take-offs from drop-offs.
Cane Creek LSC
The Low-Speed Compression (LSC) stage regulates traction and suspension stability. The LSC setting suppresses unwanted bobbing whilst pedalling, influences the response to bumps and small dips, and affects how the bike reacts to changes in weight.
Cane Creek LSR
Like the Low-Speed Compression, the Low-Speed Rebound contributes to traction and suspension stability. The Low-Speed Rebound ensures maximum traction on technical climbs, bumpy trails, banked turns and braking bumps.
Open End Eye:
Cane Creek shocks are available with or without Norglide bushings. The shocks in the Open End Eye version are supplied without Norglide bushings for direct mounting in frames designed for this purpose. The Open End shock eyes have an inner diameter of 15 mm.
