The latest evolution of the FOX 36 brings the power of a large fork to the trail and all-mountain sectors, offering the perfect balance of stiffness, control and smooth suspension travel. With increased steering precision and butter-smooth suspension performance, the 36 delivers an enduro feel without the extra weight. The GRIP X damper, designed for trail riding, has been revised to closely match the ride feel of the GRIP X2 and offers the best performance per gram in its class. The FOX 36 Factory Series is available with 150 mm or 160 mm travel and Genuine Kashima Coat, and has been developed to master aggressive trails with confidence.

Thanks to increased steering stiffness and smoother suspension travel, the 36 delivers an enduro feel without adding weight. The GRIP X shock, designed for trail riding, has been revised to match the ride feel of the GRIP X2 and offers the best performance per gram in its class.

Fox Grip X shock cartridge

The Grip X, featuring Low Speed Compression, High Speed Compression and Low Speed Rebound adjustment options, has been specifically developed for use on trail and all-mountain bikes and offers high performance, excellent mid-stroke support and improved responsiveness on both climbs and descents. The newly designed centre valve piston and the adapted valve stack significantly optimise oil flow, resulting in a much finer response and more support in the mid-stroke. The Grip X system is around 120 grams lighter than the Grip X2 cartridge.

Fox Float Glidecore air spring:

The seamlessly integrated FLOAT Glidecore air spring reduces friction by moving with the fork under dynamic load. Large-diameter O-rings dampen and control this movement whilst simultaneously reducing the start-up friction of the air spring. The result? Smoother suspension behaviour.

Fox ARCH TO RIVAL gas bridge:

The new arch design, generatively designed and optimised by FOX engineers, encases the lower fork legs and increases the fork’s torsional stiffness by a full 20% compared to the previous 36 model. Cut-outs in strategic locations contribute to weight reduction.

Fox Kashima steerer tube coating:

The gold high-end Kashima coating from Japanese specialists MI YAKI reduces friction and significantly increases durability. Fox suspension forks owe their butter-smooth response to this coating.
