RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate RC2 D1 There’s a good reason why everyone loves coil springs – the ride feel is unmistakable – super responsive at the start, with good support in the mid-travel and, thanks to Adjustable Bottom Out (ABO), optimally controlled bottom-out protection at the end of the travel – all for unwavering consistency and optimal predictability. The RC2T damping is designed to harmonise with your suspension fork and the Charger 3.2 damping. The new compression tunings of the primary piston offer reliable mid-stroke support, whilst the intuitively adjustable HSC/LSC controls make setup quick, straightforward and easily reproducible. Vivid Coil Ultimate brings decades of experience with coil springs to a shock designed for modern enduro, e-MTB and downhill bikes, ushering the distinctive legacy of the coil spring into a new era of performance.

The TouchDown RC2T shock is characterised by sensitivity and smoothness in the upper range, whilst remaining stable and supportive throughout the entire travel. With an additional Adjustable Hydraulic Bottom Out to withstand hard impacts, this position-sensitive shock offers reliable performance and tunability with energetic responsiveness at every position of the travel. The adjustable hydraulic bottom-out damper features five pressure settings, allowing the resistance in the final 20 per cent of travel to be individually adjusted. Compatible with the new Electric Red coil springs. A soft, travel-specific bottom-out damper for all travel lengths, enabling full travel. Maxima Plush damping fluid reduces friction and dampens shock noise. 20 clicks for rebound adjustment offer a wide range of settings and are suitable for a variety of rider types. The rebound adjuster can be pulled out to reveal a 3mm hex key, which can be used to adjust both the high-speed compression and the hydraulic bottom-out. Compatible with 8x30 bearing adapters
Trunnion shock mount:
On frames with this shock mount, the shock head is bolted directly to the frame; only the shaft has the classic eye for mounting the shock bushing. This mount allows for a more compact design. The frame must be designed for this. These shocks are not compatible with standard frames.

RockShox Bottom-Out:
The Vivid features adjustable hydraulic bottom-out, which increases compression damping in the final 20 per cent of travel. This is controlled individually via an adjustable dial with five different settings. How much damping it provides is entirely up to you. The key element is an adjustable dial with five different settings, allowing you to fine-tune the damping to your preference. Vivid’s AHBO allows for a wider range of rebound settings, enabling you to fine-tune it perfectly to the kinematics of different frames.
RockShox TouchDown RC2T:
TouchDown technology is Vivid’s new position-dependent damping system. The TouchDown RC2T damping features a rebound adjustment, independent high- and low-speed compression settings, and an easily adjustable threshold lever for greater pedalling efficiency. RockShox has developed a rear shock that responds lightly at the start of the travel whilst remaining smooth in the middle and at the end of the stroke. The TouchDown RC2T damping offers a sensitive and smooth response and remains stable and supportive throughout the entire travel. Furthermore, each phase of the suspension transitions seamlessly into the next. TouchDown technology bypasses the main piston’s compression damping in the first 10 per cent of travel, ensuring a smooth response. Vibration suppression is just the start. To tackle rough terrain, the next 70 per cent of the Vivid’s travel is damped by a controlled and stable compression stage. In addition to the adaptability of TouchDown technology, the adjustable hydraulic bottom-out allows you to fine-tune the suspension for the hard impacts in the final 20 per cent of travel.
The rebound knob can be pulled out to reveal a 3 mm Allen key, which can be used to adjust both the high-speed compression and the hydraulic bottom-out.

The classic steel suspension of the Vivid Coil shock offers superb responsiveness without any breakaway torque. You can adjust the RockShox Vivid perfectly to your weight and preferred response. The air volume is regulated via a valve in both the negative and positive air chambers
