DT Swiss F 535 One suspension fork
The DT Swiss F 535 One suspension fork, developed for all-mountain riding with the completely new travel-dependent Plushort damping system, three-stage Incontroll adjustment and Coilpair air/steel spring system
The F 535 ONE is the only suspension fork that meets all the requirements of an all-mountain fork: efficient power transfer, sensitivity at the start of the travel, counter-pressure in the mid-travel and end-stage progression. Thanks to travel-dependent damping and the combination of steel and air springs, the F 535 ONE is the only fork that overcomes the trade-off between sensitivity at the start and counter-pressure in the mid-travel. These technologies make the F 535 ONE a holistic suspension for a holistic ride. A small steel spring, paired with the high-performance air system, dramatically improves the fork’s performance. COILPAIR. With its low breakaway force, the steel spring absorbs all small bumps between 0 and 30 mm of travel. From 30 to 160 mm of travel, the high-volume air system provides counter-pressure in the mid-travel range. The natural properties of air generate the desired end-stroke progression. COILPAIR gives you full control on any terrain.
DT Swiss Plushport Damping:
An opening in the low-speed oil circuit generates low compression damping in the first few centimetres of travel. As the damper piston rod compresses, this opening closes and the compression damping increases. This gives the F 535 a super-responsive feel and outstanding grip in the first few centimetres of travel. After one-third of the travel, the Plushport orifices slowly close and the compression damping gradually increases. At the end of the travel, the Plushport orifices are then fully closed and the oil is routed almost entirely through the high-speed compression circuit. This produces the desired end compression and bottom-out protection.
DT Swiss Incontroll:
In all-mountain biking, efficient power transfer is just as important as in cross-country. The energy expended should be converted into forward momentum and not lost. With INCONTROL, DT Swiss offers three ride-adjustable rebound damping settings that always provide the right balance between forward momentum and traction. For long gravel climbs, steep uphill trails and rough singletrack. In OPEN mode, INCONTROL offers low compression damping for ultimate traction. The higher compression damping of DRIVE mode creates a pedal platform that guarantees efficient propulsion on the trails. LOCK mode locks the fork, ensuring no energy is wasted when approaching your favourite trail.
- OPEN mode: ideal for riding on rough, rocky terrain. The suspension works across the full travel range and offers complete control in demanding riding situations.
- Drive mode: Perfect for flat, smooth roads and for racing-style riding on both ascents and descents. The chassis is stiff, the suspension operates in Platform mode and offers maximum efficiency during fast-paced manoeuvres.
- Lockout mode: Ideal for asphalt transitions and sprints. The damping is locked out, enabling optimal pedalling efficiency, whilst the integrated release function handles unexpected bumps.
DT Swiss ADP
The APT (Adaptable Progression Tune) system allows the progression of the suspension curve to be adjusted by simply adding or removing one or more volume spacers in the suspension fork’s air chamber. This enables the rider to tailor the suspension curve to their riding style and the trails they ride. The key feature here is that the response remains equally sensitive regardless of the chosen setup. The suspension fork is supplied with two volume spacers already fitted. An additional volume spacer is included in the scope of delivery for personal adjustment.
