RockShox Sid Ultimate SL 3P:
The RockShox Sid SL Ultimate 3-position Race Day2 suspension fork features the new Charger Race Day2 damping, Debon Air+ suspension and a milled crown for reduced weight and increased stiffness. Every detail has been perfected, every extra ounce has been eliminated. The 3P Race Day2 damper offers three compression settings: Open, Pedal or a rock-solid Lockout
RockShox Sid Debon Air suspension system:
The Debon Air+ system with particularly sensitive response and a larger air chamber. The Debon Air suspension is specially tuned to the demands of XC racing and provides a higher ride height for greater confidence and control
RockShox Charger Race Day2 suspension:
The Charger Race Day shock is the lightest suspension system RockShox has ever produced. The adjustable rebound and lockout offer everything a racer could want and need. The RockShox Sid Ultimate suspension fork works with the Charger Race Day shock featuring Maxima Push oil, SKS seal rings and a self-adjusting negative air chamber. With the help of the so-called bladder – a chamber that absorbs the oil volume during compression and supports the rebound – oil foaming is prevented during fast compression and heavy damping work. This prevents the mixing of oil and air, ensuring consistently perfect damping performance.
RockShox Sag Markers:
If you don’t set your suspension correctly, you might as well be riding someone else’s bike. But why waste plastic clips or rulers to keep adjusting the suspension? RockShox sag marks are printed directly onto the fork steerer tubes for simple and precise adjustment of the perfect suspension.
RockShox Bottomless Tokens:
By inserting the optionally available volume spacers, the air volume in the fork can be reduced, thereby influencing the suspension characteristic curve. A smoother response with higher end-stage progression is achieved by inserting the volume spacers.
RockShox Maxima Pus Fluid:
Thanks to the new damper oil developed in collaboration with oil specialist Maxima, the fork operates with low friction. The rebound Sim Stack has also been optimised to further improve oil flow, ensuring even more consistent performance. New SK seal rings reduce friction even further.
RockShox Maxle Stealth thru-axle:
The thru-axle system offers greater stiffness with low weight, but is only compatible with wheelsets designed for this purpose.
RockShox Air Shaft:
The Airshaft is mounted in the left fork leg. This can be changed relatively easily, thereby altering the travel.
RockShox Torque Cups
The wheel mount on RockShox suspension forks is designed for Torque Cups. These provide a larger contact surface (31 mm) for the hub axle, thereby increasing the stiffness of the suspension fork and wheel system. Torque Cups are available as an option for most wheelsets. Of course, standard end caps can also be used.
