Maxxis Ardent Freeride Exo Dual tyre

An aggressive tread pattern on a high-volume carcass characterises the Ardent from Maxxis for All Mountain, Trail and Enduro. The design is geared towards high traction, but doesn’t forget the racer. Large block-shaped shoulder knobs bite into fast corners with their numerous edges. Although it was developed specifically for braking and acceleration traction, the centre of the tread also features bevelled knobs to minimise rolling resistance.

Maxxis Dual Compound:

Two different rubber compounds are combined to form a single tread strip. We plan the arrangement of the compounds according to the desired characteristics of the tyre.

EXO Protection

This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and highly flexible. As a result, the tyres’ performance remains consistently impressive.

Tubeless Ready, TLR

Tubeless tyres offer many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TLR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. The bead of the TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like on a genuine UST tubeless tyre. This means that tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with very little sealant.
