Continental Black Chili Compound

This is the name of the revolutionary rubber compound based on the latest findings in polymer and raw materials research. For Black Chili, Conti refines newly developed synthetic rubbers with proven natural rubber to create particularly high-performance tread compounds. Continental adds nano-scale carbon black particles to these rubbers, optimising their shape and surface properties to tailor the compound to the tyre’s specific application.

Continental ProTection:

ProTection technology gives tyres the perfect blend of smooth rolling, grip and puncture protection. This is made possible by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer, which makes the entire tyre particularly durable and resistant to damage. Despite the additional layer, the tyre has excellent shock-absorbing properties and glides smoothly over even the toughest trails. BlackChili ensures the necessary smooth rolling and grip. Another feature of ProTection technology from Germany is its Tubeless Ready compatibility. The revolutionary Tubeless Ready bead allows for easy and straightforward tyre fitting. For optimal results in terms of sealing and performance, we recommend using the new Continental RevoSealant.

Easy to fit and reliable in use. Continental TL technology is the answer to the demands of road cycling. The user-friendly tubeless system features an optimised tubeless bead, which, thanks to its shape, not only provides a stable hold in the rim but also seals almost airtight. For optimal sealing, Continental recommends using RevoSealant tyre sealant.
