Pirelli SpeedGRIP Compound

The SpeedGRIP compound is a gravel-specific rubber compound developed from Pirelli’s experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip on and off-road are crucial. This compound formula is based on the polymer matrix of the MTB-specific SmartGRIP compound whilst simultaneously reducing rolling resistance. For this reason, our engineers have optimised the compound’s characteristics to improve energy efficiency, with a slight compromise on grip. The result is a predictable compound that delivers solid performance both on and off-road.

Pirelli TechWALL Gravel technology:

The TechWALL Gravel carcass consists of a robust 60-TPI fabric in a multi-layer overlapping construction, reinforced with additional protection from bead to bead. This design combines puncture protection, reliability and riding comfort – ideal for a wide range of gravel applications.
