Schwalbe Addix Race Souplesse construction promises maximum speed and control on the fastest mountain passes, at extreme lean angles, in all conditions. Creating Souplesse. To achieve extremely low rolling resistance, a completely new compound has been developed: the Addix Race Compound. The new compound is based on special polymers that have only recently become available. The silica content has been significantly increased and is produced using a new mixing process. The tread and sidewalls feature distinct rubber compounds to achieve optimal rolling behaviour. This increases grip in corners without negatively affecting rolling resistance or durability.
