The P ZERO SmarTUBE was developed to meet the demands for lightness and handling of professional World Tour riders. It was first used in the P ZERO Race Tub SL. It is now also available to all amateur cyclists. The standard butyl inner tube has been replaced by TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane, an advanced synthetic material characterised by its elasticity and mechanical strength. The result is a tube that can be up to 70 per cent lighter, up to 50 per cent more compact and more puncture-resistant than an equivalent butyl tube. The P ZERO SmarTUBE is the ultimate upgrade for cyclists who still use the standard clincher setup and want to improve their bike’s performance, as well as for those looking for a lightweight and compact spare tube for tubeless tyres.
