Maxxis Shorty tyre, 27.5 inches, width 2.30, EXO 3C MaxxTerra, Tubeless Ready
Maxxis Shorty tyres
- DH World Cup courses today are steep, technical monsters with constantly changing conditions. Our pros needed a mid-spike tyre that handles dry, loose and worn-out cornering just as well as with a bit of mud. DThe Shorty is just such a tyre! Because even enduro riders occasionally find themselves on deep terrain , there will be three new enduro versions of the Shorty, which are, of course, lighter and tubeless-ready.
3C MaxxGrip
Maxxis’s well-known 3C downhill compound, which many of the best downhill riders have relied on for years, is now called 3C MaxxGrip. 3C MaxxGrip offers the ultimate grip and the best damping properties for unrivalled traction on the downhill.
EXO Protection
This extremely cut- and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various MTB tyres. It is very densely woven, lightweight and highly flexible. As a result, the tyres’ performance remains consistently impressive.
Tubeless Ready, TR:
Tubeless tyres have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure. This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And with no inner tube, the risk of punctures is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tyres are better prepared for fitting with sealant than other Tubeless Ready tyres. The bead of TR tyres is completely covered with a rubber layer, just like a genuine UST tubeless tyre. This ensures that tubeless fitting on all rims with standard dimensions is successful from the very first inflation and with minimal sealant
