The Addix Soft compound rubber blend rolls superbly and impresses with its excellent damping. Schwalbe has dug deep into its tyre-making bag of tricks to optimally balance both aspects. The result is a compound that’s incredibly fun to ride. And it’s significantly more durable than the previous TrailStar compound. It really plays to its strengths of plenty of damping and rich grip, and thanks to its optimised cold-weather performance, it’s suitable all year round. The Addix Soft rubber compound is at home in the world of enduro and downhill, as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. It also excels in combinations: for more speed, use Soft at the front and Speedgrip at the rear; or for more damping, use Ultra Soft at the front and Soft at the rear.

Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables an extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealant is required, but otherwise fitting is just as easy as with true tubeless tyres. With Tubeless Easy, there are no more lengthy conversion processes involving vigorous shaking and frequent re-inflation.
