Schwalbe Thunder Burt Tyres
Lightning-fast with the Thunder Burt tyres. Schwalbe’s development goal was to combine the best of the Racing Ralph and Furious Fred in a single tyre. At just under 400 g, the weight is pretty much spot on. When it comes to grip, the Thunder Burt, with its many small knobs, is hot on the heels of the Racing Ralph, and in terms of rolling resistance, it even outperforms the Furious Fred.
Schwalbe Triple PaceStar rubber compound:
three-layer rubber compound with a hard, low-rolling-resistance base compound, a fast, medium-hard tread and harder side knobs. The rubber compound for cross-country and cross-mountain use.
Schwalbe Evolution SnakeSkin casing:
The Evo casing, with extremely tightly woven threads at a steep angle, offers maximum riding comfort and minimal rolling resistance. The Schwalbe Snake Skin sidewall protection, featuring a new monofilament sidewall fabric, provides better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, enables an extremely easy tubeless conversion.An extra layer of fabric is incorporated into the sidewall of the Thunder Burt tyres to protect against damage to the otherwise sensitive tyre sides. Schwalbe recommends the Snake Skin tyres for conversion to tubeless using Doc Blue. The sturdy Snake Skin casing is best suited for this.
Schwalbe Tubeless Easy:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables an extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealant is required, but otherwise fitting is just as easy as with genuine tubeless tyres. With Tubeless Easy, there are no more lengthy conversion processes involving vigorous shaking and frequent re-inflation.
Schwalbe L.S.T.:
The tyre bead is coated with a special rubber layer that effectively reduces tyre slippage on the rim.
